29th December 2010, Mrs Newton, Stockport wrote to us saying "I am writing to say how really tasty the turkey you supplied was. Thank you for your good turkey"
5th February 2011, Mr Hanley, Kent emailed saying "My Dad has been ill recently and Andrew has today delivered my parents meat without being asked - how kind is that?! A lovely bloke (as are all your staff). I wish to thank him"
11th February 2011, J Brock, Suffolk email saying "Myself anf my partner up until very recently lived in the Lake District and as self confessed 'sausage connoisseurs' rated your Cumberland Sausge the best we trid in te whole of Cumbria! I was wondering whether you are able to do postal orders to help save us from our cravings? May you contiue to thrive and reap the rewards of being the best butcher in Cumbria!"
Following this email we are now looking into postal orders - watch this space!

On 27th January 2011 the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Telegraph and The Sun reported;
"Research from Which? has found that bacon rashers sold by Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons is breaking food regulaions by containing more than 10% added water. The consumer group claimed the four supermarkets broke laws requiring them to declare any added water ovr this threshold on the pack."
